Starlight Chronicles- Nuclear Illusion

TO KNOW DANGERS OF RADIATION ON THE LIVING AND UNBORN PLEASE FOLLOW THIS LINK: inmotion.magnumphotos.com The nuclear plant chief, (TEPCO) managing director Akio Komiri, wept as he finally had to admit that the radiation leak Is serious enough to kill people.” (March 18, 2011) What is it going to take before we value LIFE more than jobs, money and power? In ‘Nuclear Illusion’, Lee Grass shares with you some startling observations about the dangers of nuclear power. “We can’t say we haven’t been warned!” she said, “The ufo/Et’s have tried to discourage us from using nuclear power for years!” This short video offers good insight about mistakes in judgement we have made regarding the use of nuclear power. UPDATE: A news source says WikiLeaks revealed that the Japanese Government was warned three years ago that earthquake preparedness at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant was dangerously insufficient. Naturally, the leaders of the world are — or wish to start — prosecuting WikiLeaks, and not the Japanese Government. The IAEA was saying in 2008 that Japan’s nuclear safety guidelines were dangerously out of date. A government whistleblower in that country was quoted in a cable to Washington the same year that a Japanese ministry was “covering up nuclear accidents, and obscuring the true costs and problems associated with the nuclear industry.”

Japan Senior Political Figure: Ichiro Ozawa— Anxiety and frustration are growing. People cannot live in the contaminated areas. These areas are becoming uninhabitable. Japan has lost its territory by that much. If we do nothing, even Tokyo could become off limits. There is a huge amount of uranium fuels in the plants, much more than in Chernobyl. This is a terrible situation. The government doesn’t tell the truth and people live in a happy-go-lucky

Helen Caldciott–The House Subcommittee on Energy & Water begins its federal budget review process June 2, 2011. For five years running, $500 million of our taxes have been squandered to construct the Department of Energy’s (DOE) MOX “factory to nowhere” at Savannah River Site (SRS). The radioactive porkMOX plutonium program is 10 years behind schedule and costs have ballooned from $1 billion to $5 billion.

Surprise!!!!! Japanese nuclear regulators trusted that the reactors at Fukushima Dai-ichi were safe from the worst waves an earthquake could muster based on a single-page memo from the plant operator nearly a decade ago.

5-26-2011 YIKES! SUPER TYPHOON HEADED FOR FUKUSHIMA– ‘Songda’ was a Category 5 storm late Thursday, with maximum sustained winds of 161 mph and gusts of 195 mph, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The storm was producing wave heights of 38 feet in the Pacific, forecasters said.

HELEN CALDICOTT: … Up to a million people have already died from Chernobyl, and people will continue to die from cancer for virtually the rest of time. What we should know is that a millionth of a gram of plutonium, or less, can induce cancer, or will induce cancer. Each reactor has 250 kilos, or 500 pounds, of plutonium in it. You know, there’s enough plutonium in these reactors to kill everyone on earth.

UNBELIEVABLE UPDATE: Russia is working to commission a series of ocean-going nuclear plants that have critics expressing alarm over the possible dangers and calling the idea a recipe for disaster. The first such floating power plant already is under construction in St. Petersburg and will be completed in 2012. It is scheduled to become operational in the earthquake and tsunami-prone Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East of Russia.

Update: Today, Dimitar Ouzounov at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in Maryland and a few buddies present the data from the Great Tohoku earthquake which devastated Japan on 11 March. Before the M9 earthquake, the total electron content of the ionosphere increased dramatically over the epicentre, reaching a maximum three days before the quake struck.

UPDATE: The Yomiuri Shimbun–Nearly two months after the start of the crisis at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, 1 worker was tested for internal exposure caused by inhalation or ingestion of radioactive substances. The test is conducted by a device called a “whole-body counter.” While a normal internal radiation level would range from several hundred cpm to 1,000 cpm, he was told his level was 30,000 cpm.

Update: 5-16-2011–SHIZUOKA — Chubu Electric Power Co. said Sunday that trouble with the cooling systems at the Hamaoka power plant prevented its No. 5 reactor from achieving a cold shutdown for about two hours but did not result in the release of radiation.

  10. leegrassw says:

Tokyo Electric Power Co. concealed data showing spikes in radiation levels at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant in March, one day before a hydrogen explosion injured seven workers. The Asahi Shimbun obtained a 100-page internal TEPCO report containing minute-to-minute data on radiation levels at the plant as well as pressure and water levels inside the No. 3 reactor from March 11 to April 30. The data has never been released by the company that operates the stricken plant.

  11. leegrassw says:

“Did TEPCO know from the begining the situation was worse than they led the public to believe?”, the answer would consistently be “Yes”. What on earth makes anyone think that what they say today is any different? It’s far worse than they even now are admitting. This is not disclosure; this is simply another step along the way of misleading disinformation.

  12. leegrassw says:

Update: On May 10, someone went upstairs to the 2nd floor for the first time since March 11, and measured the radiation there. It was so high that the Geiger counter couldn’t accurately measure. And TEPCO thinks the totally melted blob of fuel rods (uranium, plutonium) + cladding (zirconium alloy) + control rods (boron, cadmium, silver, indium) + stainless steel pipes + whatever was inside the Reactor Pressure Vessel = “corium” is being safely cooled at the bottom of the RPV.

Bad News: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is routinely waiving fire rule violations at nearly half the nation’s 104 commercial reactors, even though fire presents one of the chief hazards at nuclear plants.

The policy, the result of a series of little-noticed decisions in recent years, is meant to encourage nuclear companies to remedy longstanding fire safety problems. But critics say it is leaving decades-old fire hazards in place as the NRC fails to enforce its own rules.

5-8-2011 REALLY CRAZY IDEA: TOKYO — A top Japanese official says Japan will maintain atomic power as part of its energy policy despite the country’s ongoing nuclear crisis.

Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito Sengoku said Sunday that Japan will “stick to nuclear power as a national energy policy.” He made the comment on a talk show on public broadcaster NHK.

  15. leegrassw says:

Update: 5-7-2011 TOKYO — 10 Thousand people rallied in Japan Saturday to demand a shift away from nuclear power after an earthquake and tsunami sparked the world’s worst atomic crisis since Chernobyl a quarter-century ago.

UPDATE: 5-7-2011~WORLDS MOST DANGEROUS NUCLEAR PLANT TO CLOSE: Some seismologists have called Hamaoka the world’s most dangerous nuclear power facility. Government forecasts have predicted an 87 per cent chance of a powerful quake in the area, which sits on two major subterranean faults. A major accident would be likely to force the evacuation of Greater Tokyo, home to 28 million people.

Prayer to the Earth and Water—Citizens of Earth: March 31st, 12 NOON (your timezone). “The Water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant, we are sorry to make you suffer. Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.” This is all it takes. Please say it aloud or in your mind 3 times as you put your hands together in a prayer position. Please offer your sincere prayer.” — Dr. Masaru Emoto

From Koyto news: Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Wednesday it has observed a neutron beam, a kind of radioactive ray, 13 times on the premises of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant after it was crippled by the massive March 11 quake-tsunami disaster.
