@rcpratt88 I think it’s pretty accurate … didn’t you see what happened at Fukushima when the power was knocked out by the tsunami?

What is the name of this documentary?
I can’t believe how dumb mankind was to make something that has no off switch and that we can’t walk away from…

Anyone here enough of a nuclear expert to tell us exactly how much radioactive contamination would cause the extinction of all life on Earth – Or, of all the higher, more sensitive creatures, like us? Any of you know how much is already loose in the biosphere? Nope. I didn’t think so. Odd we wouldn’t be told that.

If the spent fuel can still create heat (1000 degrees) then why cant they just use that for energy too? Like boiling water for generators

@TximTiftang It was a show about how if all humans suddenly disappeared, how would everyday things continue to work. It shows what would happen to zoo animals, how buildings would decay, power plants would explode.. so on.

@TximTiftang I’m pretty sure this is from a show about after humans are already gone. I forget what it’s called but I know they’re going off the idea that humans disappear first.
